Addis Ababa is alive with culture, music, art and some of the best coffee you’ll ever taste. It blends tradition with creativity and is a great base for digital nomads who want connection and local flavor. Beyond the city, Ethiopia opens up into extraordinary contrasts. Where to go in Africa as a Digital Nomad?

On the east coast of Africa, Tanzania and Zanzibar offer the perfect mix of island calm and mainland adventure. In Zanzibar, life moves with the rhythm of the tides — peaceful mornings in Jambiani, ocean swims, spice tours and sunset sailing set the pace for slow, mindful living. Across the water on the mainland, Tanzania opens up into endless savannahs, mountains and national parks. From Serengeti safaris to the foothills of Kilimanjaro, and the cultural buzz of Arusha or Dar es Salaam, there’s space here to work, explore and reconnect with nature. Whether you come solo, with friends or as a small team, Tanzania invites you to find balance, creativity and new energy.

We are adding Malawi and Zambia, two countries full of warmth, color and wild beauty. Picture lakeside lodges, open skies and welcoming communities. Malawi’s lake is ideal for slow travel and creative workdays by the water, while Zambia offers some of Africa’s most striking wildlife, peaceful riverside stays and the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls — one of the natural wonders of the world. Both destinations are perfect for digital nomads, remote teams and curious travelers ready to experience new sides of Africa.
