Waking up here means fresh lake air, mornings by the water and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to find your flow. You will discover welcoming locals, vibrant markets, simple but delicious food and sunsets that seem to stretch endlessly across the lake.

Life in Nkhata Bay invites you to slow down, connect with people and nature, and rediscover what it feels like to work and live with intention.

Food in Nkhata Bay is fresh, simple, and deeply connected to the lake. One of the highlights is chambo, the famous Lake Malawi fish, often grilled and served with nsima, rice, or fresh vegetables. Along the waterfront you will find small local restaurants and guesthouses preparing delicious meals with ingredients coming straight from the lake or nearby farms.
